HEY THERE! My name is James, however you may call me Jay(tee). I’m a 20 year old trans-masculine individual who just happens to go to the University at Albany (SUNY Albany). I am a sociology major and a LGBTQ Studies / Psych double minor and I’m finally feeling good about where I am. I’m hoping to graduate in Fall of 2014.
Other important things you need to know. I’m totally in love with my best friend and girlfriend, Ann (forevertheangrygirl.tumblr.com). We’ve been together since August 7th, 2010. We have two children - Mikey, our fabulous tabby cat and Sasquatch, our amazing furry hamster. We love them both equally.
As for other things, I currently work as the Kids Rule! Supervisor at Jiminy Peak. I’ve worked there for six years now, although this is (was) my first year as supervisor. I love working with children. I’ve worked at a laser tag place in the past and it was good fun. I love crafts and painting and such, but I never take it seriously. It’s just a good way to get out the bad stuff. I’m a smash booker/scrapbooker and I’m kind of proud of it. I enjoy skiing and snowboarding, kayaking, swimming non-competitively, and going for bike rides. Going for walks and hiking (or as some of my friends call my style of hiking, going for a walk in the woods) are also good fun sometimes. I’m drug and alcohol free and always have been.
I’m trying to be more laid back about my life as I tend to worry too much about things that don’t matter. I’m trying to take life day by day and do me the best I can. Because in the end, it’s me who I have to worry about and not the trivial things like money and time. Life is what you make it, and you better make it the best life you can because you only have one (that we know of). Otherwise, my story is still being written and if you’d like to be a part of it I suggest you talk to me! Don’t be shy, I won’t bite (unless you’re into that ;D).
